It would not come as a surprise if we say Afghanistan has been
the battle ground for super powers and it might end if the peace talks initiated
by United States and the Russian Federation can come to an understanding that
Afghans have suffered enough.
What can the Afghans (Government, Political Parties, and
Tribes on both sides of the Durand Line, The North, South, East and West,
Including the Afghan Diasporas around the World) do to make certain that this
process is successful? If you really care about the future of your children:
1.
Hold the super powers accountable for starting sincere
peace talks.
2.
Stop being negative about the peace talks.
3.
Stop being negative for your personal benefit.
4.
Stop being negative for only your tribe's benefits.
5.
Stop being negative for only your Political
Parties benefits.
6.
Stop selling each other.
7.
Support the peace talks till the ink no longer
exist around the world in every pen, pencil and printer around the world and
use social media and scream as loud as you can.
a.

we are alive!
d.
Don't use us because we are poor to give

Afghanistan with our trillions of dollars of resources!
What can the Super Powers, Afghanistan's Neighbors do to
have a peaceful Afghanistan and prevent further bloodshed for the poor people
of Afghanistan and for the benefits of their own countries? They have to first
recall the times before the Russians came to Afghanistan. Afghanistan was a
peaceful country.
- The world needs to hear from the highest levels
of the administrations what the United States and its partners in the peace talks
intend to achieve in Afghanistan and what a long-term strategy looks like.
- There is a need for envoys who clearly speaks
for the peace talks, drives peace talk's policies, and is charged with the task
of developing and implementing strategies. The appointment of Zalmay Khalilzad from
United States and one additional individual from every country that will meet
that requirement if they receive clear political authority from all countries involved
in the peace talks is crucial.
- Afghanistan's neighbors need to be assured that
a stable Afghanistan will advance, not undermine, their regional interests.
- There is considerable overlap of interests in
Afghanistan's stability, those subjects should be pursued more effectively as
Washington and Moscow can coordinate on which they can cooperate.
There is an opportunity to bring the conflict in Afghanistan
to an end, but doing so will require genuine effort to accomplish the task. This article is written by just an ordinary citizen of this world: Mateen Karzai
