A light earthquake magnitude 4.3 (ml/mb) strikes 51 kilometers (32 miles) from `Alaqahdari-ye Kiran wa Munjan in Afghanistan on Monday. All ids that are associated to the event: us20009lyl. Unique identifier: us20009lyl. Exact location of event, depth 103.34 km, 71.3154° East, 36.1855° North. The 4.3-magnitude earthquake was detected at 19:57:23 / 7:57 pm (local time epicenter). Global date and time of event UTC/GMT: 12/06/17 / 2017-06-12 15:27:23 / June 12, 2017 @ 3:27 pm. A tsunami warning has not been issued (Does not indicate if a tsunami actually did or will exist). The earthquake was roughly at a depth of 103.34 km (64 miles).

Earthquake epicenter was 66 km (41 miles) from Ishqoshim (c. 26 000 pop), 59 km (36 miles) from Ashkāsham (c. 12 100 pop), 87 km (54 miles) from Jurm (c. 12 100 pop), 92 km (57 miles) from Pārūn (c. 1 000 pop). Close country/countries, Afghanistan (c. 29 121 000 pop), Tajikistan (c. 7 487 000 pop) (That might be effected). Closest city/cities/towns to epicentrum/hypocenter was Pārūn, Jurm, Ishqoshim (min 5000 pop).

Each year there are an estimated 13,000 light quakes in the world. In the past 24 hours, there have been two, in the last 10 days two, in the past 30 days nine and in the last 365 days one hundred and twenty-two earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater that has struck near. Earthquakes 4.0 to 5.0 are often felt, but only causes minor damage.
